View Project ProfileWhen we take on a project, we see more than a clinical trial, a registry or an economic evaluation. We see an opportunity to work with researchers, practitioners, policymakers, government funding agencies and private industry in our quest to impact patient care and policy decisions.
The BRIDGES program is an innovative initiative jointly led by the Departments of Medicine (DOM) and Family & Community Medicine (DFCM) at the University of Toronto. The goals of this program are to explore systemic health services delivery challenges within Ontario in hospitals, primary care clinics, and community services, and rapidly review, test, and evaluate new and cost effective solutions to health delivery that will improve the care and health of Ontarians.
Learn MoreBRIDGES is a complex project involving nine different teams of researchers with varied levels of experience. The people at the HUB helped pull the project together through a consistent approach to engaging each group, with a responsive and highly competent team with a wide range of services. They’ve been a joy to work with as the BRIDGES executive, and the teams are all extremely satisfied with their work. It would have been difficult to pull together such a large project so quickly without the help of the health economics, applied health research, and knowledge translation teams at the HUB.
The BRIDGES partnership with the HUB has been critical to making BRIDGES a success. It has provided us and our project teams with centralized access to a wide range of expertise and has helped us build stronger working relationships, increased the consistency of our work and enhanced our operational efficiency.
