The OBI:POND Registry is a large clinical database of children and youth with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, which will allow to properly characterize these children using behavioural / cognitive measures, imaging and electrophysiology techniques, genomics and epigenomics in order to advance scientific understanding of these disorders. The Ontario Clinical Trials Network will be embedded in the POND registry and will examine the efficacy and safety of pharmacological and non-phamacological interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Intellectual Disability and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The POND integrated discovery network will allow scientists and clinicians in Ontario to lead worldwide efforts in Neurodevelopmental disorders, offering innovative routes to new diagnostic and treatment opportunities for affected children and youth and their families.
