Challenges in academic research can sometimes including unfamiliarity with electronic data capture solutions or a lack of experience with building electronic databases. REDCap is a robust and intuitive Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system that can be utilized to collect clinical research data though a web-based interface that is accessible through any internet connected device. RCTs, observational and longitudinal studies, QI projects, survey and patient reported outcome based projects can all be built in REDCap and is available to St. Michael’s Hospital researchers through the Applied Health Research Centre.

At the end of this session you will have a better understanding of REDCap’s capabilities, its specific features and functionality, how it can be used to collect data and what working in REDCap looks like

This session is open to:

– faculty members from U of T

– researchers

– research assistants

– research coordinators

– physicians

– and, clinicians working in research hospitals affiliated with U of T.
